Gastric Sleeve
The gastric sleeve surgery is a well-known surgical method for weight loss. During this procedure, the size of the stomach is surgically decreased to about one-third of its original volume. The gastric sleeve surgery in Mexico is a common procedure.
The mini gastric bypass surgery is similar to the traditional RNY bypass. The difference is that only one connection is made to the small intestine instead of two. This procedure creates a narrow tube-like pouch that holds approximately 1-2 ounces.

The TreVita Process
Day 1: US to MX
Arrive at the San Diego International Airport and meet your driver at the airport pickup.
The driver will take you across the border to your hotel in Tijuana, Mexico.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax after your day of traveling.
Day 2: Surgery
The morning of surgery, meet your driver outside of the hotel to take you to the hospital.
Your doctor’s staff will meet you in the lobby to help you check-in with the hospital and prep you for surgery.
Day 3: Recovery
After surgery, you’ll stay an additional day at the hospital to be monitored by the doctor’s staff.
They’ll administer several tests and encourage you to begin walking around the hospital.
Day 4: Back to Hotel
When discharged from the hospital in the morning, you’ll meet your driver outside to be driven back to your hotel.
Enjoy your final day of recovery & relaxation in Tijuana, Mexico.
Day 5: Flight Home
Check out of your hotel before 11:00 AM PST.
